At five feet and two inches, Mitsuki Koyami is tiny. She is not just tiny, but she is skinny. Petite is the only way to describe her stature. She is naturally skinny and weighs ninety-seven pounds.
She is distinctly Asian in her appearance. Her hair is dark brown, and has dark red natural highlights that shine in the sun's light. Her eyes are a dark brown to match her hair, and have golden flecks around her irises. Her skin isn't particularly dark, but she's not albino white either. A healthy looking sun tan color glows on her face.
Though she spent the first decade or so of her life in Japan, she prefers modern American clothing. Form fitting t-shirts and tank tops mostly fill her drawers and wardrobe. She likes dark colored jeans most of the time. Jewelry usually adorns her ears and wrist, but never anything too flashy. She's the kind of person that is easily looked over, and doesn't really stand out among other students.

•• Personality: Mitsuki is a very shy girl. Shy enough that her goal in life is not to be seen, and to have nobody know who she is. She spends most of her time outside, listening to the rain or singing softly to the moon. She loved her horse at home, and she wishes she could have a cat at her school to keep her company. Inside the school, she is just a nobody. Not many people even know that she is experienced in using her power.
Though she is timid, that doesn't mean Mitsuki is compliant. She holds her tongue when things tick her off, which means that if anybody did notice, her she'd most likely be picked on. Her weakness is psychics. She has no problem holding her tongue, but her thoughts are a whole other world that are sometimes flaming inside with what she wants to say.
Mitsuki is very ambitious, although she doesn't show it. In fact, she hides her ambition from everybody, for reasons that even she doesn't know. Her goal in the school is to be the best at using her power. She spends as much time as she can outside, practicing her control of the wind. To others, she acts as if she is barely discovering her powers, and she pulls that act off very well.

In the spring of 1994 was born a tiny baby to two Japanese docters. Mitsuki Koyami was born in Hiroshima, Japan, but lived most of her life in Hokkaido. Her house was by the sea, with stables and pets, and after a few years, a little brother. It would seem like the prefect existence.
But her life was actually a lonely one. She was kept in isolated existence because of her 'delicate health'. She could never find anything wrong with herself, but with two doctors as parents, it meant that they could always find some excuse to keep her inside. She made friends with her stuffed animals and sang songs to pass the tome, but she never really developed social skills that she'd need.
Being alone never seemed to make her depressed, though. She seldom shows it, but Mitsuki is actually a happy character. Her little brother, Takuto, kept her company some of the time. She would have been happy to stay in that existence, full of books and free time to do whatever she wanted.
Most of this time was spent outside on the rocks by the sea. It was there that she began to feel connected to the air around her. At the age of nine she could make small breezes change direction. Clouds that seemed to be coming would come faster if she wanted it to rain. And slower if she didn't. She never told anyone, not even her parents, because it scared her.
Just a year after that, at ten years old, they moved. Mitsuki's father had been offered a very high-paying job in northern California working at a very prestigious hospital. It was an offer that was too good to refuse. So, Suki said her tearful goodbyes to her horses, her cat, and her favorite rocks by the sea. She did not have any friends to hug as she left, nobody to miss her or write her about Japan.
When she heard about Preston Chelsea High, she knew it was for her. She convinced her parents to allow her to go there and leave them, even though they worried about her. But the school's good reputation calmed them and she was allowed to go. She has made no friends since coming, and is proud to say that very few people even know her name.
