Well, right away you'd notice her signature blonde hair and blue eyes. Dani also has a few barely visible moles lining her neck from unprotected sun exposure. (She doesn't like putting on sunscreen because it takes too much time, in her opinion.) Her face is rather hard to miss, due to her portruding cheekbones. (Also, you have to take into account that everyone who's anyone at PCH knows who she is, even if they only know what she looks like.)

Dani stands at 5' 3" and weighs 105 lbs. She has a thin build and takes pride in flaunting her figure and her relatively large chest. (For a fifteen-year-old.) Dani has platinum blonde hair that she restyles daily because she doesn't like having the same hairstyle every single day. Her piercing, sky blue eyes accentuate her facial features, and draw attention to her elegantly arched eyebrows. Her lower lip pouts slightly, while her upper lip remains thin. Dani's nose is narrow and glides straight down across her face.

She wears the latest styles and will be seen in nothing but "proper" fashion. (As opposed to what she calls "pseudo-fashion" that can be seen on the backs of the less financially fortunate students.) She loves belted tops, short sleeves, thin long sleeves, stripes, pastel colors, long/thin overcoats, charm necklaces/bracelets, hoop earrings, furry boots, skinny jeans, and a host of other clothing items. (Keep in mind that the fur she wears is never real. It's synthetic or faux fur.) In the colder seasons, Dani can be spotted bundled up in neutral colors, often long jackets, furry boots, some sort of jean, furry mittens, sweatshirts, that whole thing. Warm and comfortable, yet oh so fashionable. When the weather takes a turn for the better, she wears short shorts, miniskirts, high heels (she prefers pumps), spaghetti straps, halter tops, high-necked blouses, bangles, etc. As for makeup, she likes it subtle (there's a surprise). Dani mainly puts on lipstick and eyeliner, as her cheeks already have a natural rosy glow.

Dani's not the kind of girl you want to push buttons with, even if she appears mild-mannered on the surface. Most everyone at PCH knows her seemingly meek temperament is just a ploy to manipulate people. (Freshmen, beware.) In reality, Dani is a scheming, clever fifteen-year-old who has for a time felt slightly in the shadow of her older sister, Veronica. Very slightly, of course. She tends to enjoy taking drastic measures to solve her problems and blaming things on other people. However, don't for a second think Dani is reckless. She knows how to play her cards, and will only do something really irresponsible when the odds are in her favor.

Same goes for boys. When she likes someone, as she does currently, she tries to make sure no one else likes him and that she's able to "steal" him first. Dani gets especially, although usually subtly, violent around a girl who likes the same boy she does, and takes pleasure in messing up her life. Of course, the "messing up lives" rule applies to anyone who rubs her the wrong way, not just lovesick girls.

On the flip side, Dani is also openly bitchy, albeit very rarely. (Openly meaning around people she doesn't know, like newly transferred students and such.) In contrast to her sister, Dani is rather serious and reserved, and doesn't just manipulate boys, she manipulates everyone she knows she can get away with. However, as stated above, it takes a lot to set off her practically nonexistant temper. As an addendum to messing up people's lives, she takes steps to make sure the person or people involved are actually out to ger her or someone she's friends or family with. (Generally, this means espionage and moderate reconnaissance.) I'll reiterate this: she treats school social ethics like a chess game. She'll only move her piece if she knows it will benefit the situation, and won't hurt it. Basically, everyone who's not extremely new to PCH knows she's ruthless, clever, intelligent, beautiful, and knows how to bring the drama.

One year, seven months, and some odd days after her sister Veronica was born, Daniella Mae Peterson made her debut onto the spherical blue stage that is our planet. However, the circumstances of Dani's life are a bit more unusual than the lives of most people. Her father, Nathan Peterson, a doctor, and her mother, Alexis Peterson, a university professor. Both hold respectable occupations, but that's just what's on the surface. Dani, along with the three other members of her immediate family, are gifted with some incredible and amazing powers. Nathan has control over lasers and technology, Alexis can communicate through electricity and supercharge powers to her every whim, Veronica is supernaturally speedy and can additionally manipulate electricity, and Daniella... well, let's start at the beginning.

Dani, like her sister, was born and grew up in Sacramento, California, the thirty-first in a series of fifty states belonging to the United States of America. She grew up in a nice house in a nice neighborhood, because her family was extremely rich. Dani lived a relatively uneventful childhood. She had a ton of friends, she played with dolls, she went to public school, she loved mostly everyone, and mostly everyone loved her. (Awww, look at that face! How could anyone resist?) She and Veronica remained good friends throughout their early years, as sisters tend to do.

The years passed, and around two years after Veronica discovered her first power of supernatural speed, Daniella found her first power of pyrokinesis, the ability to create and control fire. It was the early evening, and seven-year-old Dani was outside playing in the front yard. She became angry when her mother called her for dinner, clenched her fist, and set the rosebushes ablaze. Her parents knew right then and there that they had another gifted child on their hands. They explained as best they could what it all meant to the young girl, as they had with her sister before her.

Before long, Veronica enrolled at Preston Chelsea High School to receive an education for her mind and her powers. One year later, it was Daniella's turn. Right away, she knew she was going to love PCH. She quickly joined the Preps and was elevated to the rank of PCH Princess by Queen Bee Peyton. (Dani suspected Veronica may have had some influence in this decision, but she wasn't sure.) Currently, Dani is in her sophomore year at PCH, but the drama has only just begun. She's recently started paying close attention to Logan, a fellow Prep and sophomore. She wants him for herself, and is already worried that a Popular named Halley likes him, too. Of course, there have been other things on Dani's mind, such as the increasing arguments with her sister and Peyton's looming graduation, which would make her the Queen of PCH.
